Pikoup – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Pikoup. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Pikoup mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using Pikoup, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- “Pikoup,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Pikoup Ride Services.
- “User” refers to any person who accesses or uses the Service, including Riders and Drivers.
- “Rider” refers to users who request transportation services.
- “Driver” refers to independent service providers who accept ride requests.
- “App” refers to the Pikoup mobile application.
2. Eligibility
To use Pikoup, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
Pikoup reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.
3. Nature of the Service
Pikoup is a technology platform that connects Riders with independent Drivers. Pikoup does not provide transportation services directly and does not employ Drivers.
Drivers operate as independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of Pikoup.
4. Account Registration
Users must create an account to access certain features. You agree to:
- Provide accurate registration information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Notify Pikoup immediately of unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others
- Provide false information
- Attempt to disrupt or damage the App or its systems
- Use the App to transport illegal or prohibited items
Violation may result in account suspension or termination.
6. Ride Requests & Payments
- Ride fares are calculated based on distance, time, demand, and other factors.
- Prices are displayed before ride confirmation.
- Payments are processed securely through supported payment providers.
- Pikoup may charge service or platform fees.
All payments are non-refundable, except where required by law.
7. Driver Responsibilities
Drivers must:
- Hold valid licenses and permits
- Maintain roadworthy vehicles
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Conduct themselves professionally and safely
Pikoup may deactivate Drivers who fail to meet standards.
8. Safety & Monitoring
To comply with Google Play safety policies, Pikoup may:
- Collect trip data, including GPS location
- Monitor activity to prevent fraud or abuse
- Implement driver verification and trip tracking
Emergency features may be provided but do not replace local emergency services.
9. Ratings & Feedback
Users may rate and review rides. Pikoup reserves the right to remove content that is abusive, misleading, or violates policies.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
Pikoup collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which complies with applicable data protection laws and Google Play User Data policies.
By using Pikoup, you consent to such data collection and processing.
11. Location Permissions
The App may request access to device location services to:
- Match Riders with Drivers
- Enable live tracking
- Improve service accuracy
Location access is used strictly for service functionality and user safety.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with Pikoup are owned by or licensed to Pikoup. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
13. Suspension & Termination
Pikoup may suspend or terminate accounts:
- For violation of these Terms
- For safety or legal reasons
- To comply with laws or Google Play policies
Users may stop using the Service at any time.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Pikoup makes no guarantees regarding availability, accuracy, or uninterrupted service.
Pikoup is not responsible for:
- Driver actions
- Traffic delays
- Accidents or personal disputes between users
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pikoup shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Pikoup harmless from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
17. Changes to Terms
Pikoup may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
